Italian Simmental bulls

14 Italian Simmental (Pezzata Rossa Italiana) bulls, sorted by IDA.

Italian Simmental (Pezzata Rossa Italiana) is the dual-purpose milk and beef breed selected by ANAPRI, based in Udine. It is valued for milk that is well suited to cheesemaking, for the beef value of its calves and for the fertility and longevity of its cows.

Most of the Italian Simmental bulls distributed by AgriFriuli come from the Moruzzo Bull and Stallion Centre (Centro Tori e Stalloni), owned by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Breeders’ Association. Each bull page shows current ANAPRI indexes, casein variants and traits.
